Hi people, just thought I'd share my news, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 5 years ago and over that period of time my blood sugars got progressively worse, a year ago after an appointment at the diabetes clinic I decided I really needed to do something about it so I changed my diet took up walking (no cost) and in the year have lost 2 and a half stone (35lb), I really started to see the difference in just a week, after 6 months I stopped using byatta and reduced my metformin to 2000 a day after 9 months it was reduced to 1000 a day and after my recent appointment at the hospital the dr has told me if my results are the same as this time he will stop all metformin, I can't believe it I'm so happy, well another 18lb to lose and I will be my target weight it has been hard at times but I do have the occasional treat but I'm gonna stick at it... Just thought I'd share my news and hopefully will inspire others to do the same
