Hello,

Good morning, recently diagnosed Type 2, no need for insulin. A1C was over 9%.

Anyway, been looking at the One Drop Blood Glucose Test Kit. It interfaces with Apple Health so I can log the readings easily.

Does anyone else use it? Do you like it? Any reason I shouldn't get it?

Thanks for any tips.

It might not be necessary to be testing your blood glucose regularly for more than a few months, so any meter will do. They will all show you the increase in blood glucose for a particular meal, and you can then adjust your diet - after six months and reducing my numbers to normal I rarely need to check my readings. If I am in any doubt about eating or drinking something I usually just don't, but if you are more likely to need to check, the cost of the strips for the meter is probably more to be concerned about.
