Hi All,

Does anyone else get "one of those days", when nothing goes right :?:
I make silly mistakes, my memory is non-existant, and can't concentrate on anything :?:

Could this be a by-product of Diabetes :?:

Even when typing this (at 0515), I've mis-typed about 15 times, despite really concentrating hard and even spelling my words out as I type.
Or, maybe early Dementia's setting in :?: My Mum, who's in her late 80's, has it as a result of T.I.A's (mini strokes). :(
My late father had a history of strokes too. :(

At 05.15 I'd be positively incoherent!! :) I like to tell myself that it is because I have so much on my mind when I make all the stupid mistakes that I do make.I don't think I can blame diabetes because this has been happening for years!!Have you been checked out by the doctor re. blood pressure etc.?

I used to get that with high blood sugar, but I think it was high blood sugar causing tiredness which then caused the things you discribe.

I go doo-lally just before my periods. High blood sugars or low blood sugars can make you go a bit daft, but it may not be a diabetes issue.

Hi I get like that alot too I keep going back to were I started to double check myself I call them my senior moments I started having them when I started my menorpause I've finished now and still having them , I think it's because our minds are so full of stuff we don't concentrate on just one thing , I think if there's no medical answer then maybe we make it worse by worrying I hope you feel better if not later then maybe tomorrow keep your chin up.

dumpling x :)

Personally i think we start turning into men once past the menopause!!You know,no good at multitasking!!!    (sits back and waiting for in-coming!!!)

I know I can't multitask (though don't let my employers know, they think I can), that's why I got married

No, I don't think so Sue. At least I haven't noticed any improvement in my wife's driving!!

Life without senior moments is boring. Keeps everybody around you amused!! joke. I get them all the time lately. Full set of blood tests yesterday and due diabetes mot in next few weeks. They also tested thyroid levels and dr actually admitted there could be something wrong with thyroid. That it had gotten worse. I had to write all my symptoms down before I saw him as I'm getting so forgetful. Old age?!

I hope not, I'm only 36 and I have to write everything down already! Mind you, I have to have separate lists for stuff I need to do and stuff I need to do for my mum (she's blind and my dad died in September so guess who has to take up the slack  ) My younger brother lives with her but he's autistic so he needs his "chill-out time" when someone else can take over.

Keep up the good work Bubsy.. Me I have about 6 lists on the go at any one time. Things to buy, things to do, things to find in house....need I go on? I even forget peoples names!! Oops...who am I?
