One Touch Select Plus

Has anyone had any trouble renewing their prescription for lancets and strips for their One Touch Select Plus. My Pharmacy tell me that it is discontinued but the company assure me it is not discontinued and there are no problems with distribution. I have had this monitor about 6 months and so I am surprised I am finding it a problem
 
I could suggest that you use the NHS or Diabeties uk system to get your items from. It could just be that your chemist chain dont get paid enough to orderit!
 
I collect my prescription from my GP surgery. I saw my consultant this afternoon and he told me the NHS is beginning to introduce the same meters for all users. This is to save money and make the results uniform.
