Will you then be a porky pumper or will you change insulin type again?
Btw, never heard about a new (or old for that sake) T1 switching so fast through so many different types of insulin.
You may end up in the book of Guinness.
How are you getting on @yingtong ? Not derailing - we are as curious as cats about others pump experiences that's the members, by the way, not the royal "We"
@Celsus -- you really made me laugh too!! To answer your and @Heathenlass q re which insulin I'm going to be using: it's back to novorapid for now... I didn't want to do *anything* that might put them off me having a pump so... We'll see. Actually quite curious cos I think it was the Lantus and Levemir I didn't get on with... I may be fine on just Novo... More experimenting!
... And if I'm not then I'll push to switch; after all I have a Guinness record to aim for don't you know...
@Flowerpot -- I know!! Never ever imagined I would get excited about getting permanently attached to a piece of technology!! ... Honestly that's the only bit I'm still unsure of... Being a single gal n' all... But -- you all say that the benefits WAY out weigh any of that and so... Excitement it is!
PS .... Loosely, indirectly in amongst the huge relief I have around soon having the pump I'm actually having a bit of a bum day {actually, that's a ridiculous understatement -- an utterly miserable day would be more accurate} so thanks all for being so lovely and funny and making me smile and laugh so! Really makes a difference having you guys rooting for me...
