Only walking high on sugar and over leafing painkillers (codeine). Afraid to eat or walk.

Thanks @Guzzler
I'm led to believe my pain is mostly due to GPS not doing something sooner. A&E have told me my a&e visits are due to bad gp.
So GP has to put this right. Not fair on A&E. They are stretched as it is.
However if no sign of relief imminent at 08.50am appointment I will taxi it to A&E. And will wait, in pain.
I cannot live like this!

I'm sorry @gabastu72. Is it noted as the side effect of one of those meds?

I'm shaking... I need some comfort.
Kids need dinner.
Mr ickihun getting hoover once again as he doesn't know what else to do. poor man.

Last time we called 111 ambulance came for chest pains and singular paramedic shouted at me and wouldn't let me talk through not being able to breath.
Ive been advised to report him.

I'm reluctant to call them, ever again. If I'm conscious I'll go to a&e by taxi.
111 have no choice but increase to 999 status but I'm never unconscious, just unable to breath with chest pains.
Our country is soooo messed up.

I get told to call ambulance when I get discharged... If chest pain occurs again.

I cannot win.

Just upper back pain and fell ill. Lying down. Once I sat upright I'm sooo uncomfortable and bloat right out.

I want to run away from my body.

I’m glad you’ve got appts lined up now. Hopefully they’ll soon get to the bottom of your problems x

So sorry to read this @ickihun and hope that your appointments tomorrow provide some help.
Thank you @Goonergal . I'm awaiting for some pain relief to be able to go to bed.
I have a taxi booked for gp appointment at 08.30am.
I'm not really sure what he can do... other than the same but no change.

My whole body is wrigged in pain.
I think I will lie down and see if I'll get comfortable enough to sleep off, for as long as possible.

Looks like gp made mistake and scan should have been in 2wk rule not none urgent. X-ray dept has booked it for Monday morning.... thank god.
Thank you for your support and kind words.

Good luck with the scan!

As for pain.. Have you asked GP about gabapentin? I'm on 3x600mg with 30mg codeine as needed for neuropathic leg pain. My pain specialist also did a sympathectomy on one leg, and that's improved circulation & reduced walking pain a bit. That's a simple procedure, but a bit drastic as it destroys one of the sympathetic nerves.

Well not surprising I've now got thrush from all the stress.

I just cannot wait for it to be over. Or diagnosed at least.

Tramadol is knocking me out so I'm getting sleep at least. It's took the sharp pain away in moving but tomorrow will experiment with a little walk.
Sweating alot but started before tramadol so not off tramadol.
Hope infection not back. Anaemia just left for now as unsure what GP wanted to do. Diet only changed a few weeks back briefly due to paying for Xmas costs. Back to normal now so hoping diet resolves it. Not sure if gp needs a retest in 3mths or not. Awaiting to hear from practice after weekend.
They need to monitor my blood pressure but due to being ill. They are using A&E results only.
I hope they have relayed my blood test results back to bariatric Unit. I'm looking like a pin cushion.

@ickihun
I am so sorry for you having such horrendous pain. I do understand, as I also have bouts of chronic pain. I hope you can get a resolution to it all soon.

I am concerned, though, and would remind all members of the forum rule:-

Hi! I am sorry to hear that you going through a very difficult period of indefinite and severe pain. Hope everything gets resolved quickly. Hugs and prayers.

I'm feeling hopefully for my little walk.

I keep telling myself It cannot be any worse than friday. I'll be gutted if too painful thou. I keep getting promised my running machine In the bedroom from garage. It will be summer at this rate.
I can do what I can slowly.
There is DIY list at mo. *

Scan at 08.30 this morning... anxious.

Scared incase anaemia is due to leak somewhere.

Give yourself plenty of time, lass. Take a few moments to sit and breathe. This step will soon be over and you will be perhaps a little wiser as to the cause of your recent deterioration in health. Fingers crossed that in a few hours you will be back at home with a nice cuppa and able to relax a little. Good luck.

Results back to GP. If a leak I'd like to think urgent so I feel a bit reassured.

I will call GP practice tomorrow for an appointment if results are received. Otherwise I'll call them thursday if gp hasn't had a chance to look at it.

Sweating soooo much at mo.
Before breakfast bg was 9.2 and having insulin and breakfast now.
I dont normally sweat on 9s. I normally sweat when walking vigorously and blood levels are coming down quickly, say after metformin and a long period before food.

I'm wondering if still have infection. I don't want to spend my week at gp's practice this week. I have important doings for 4yr old.
Will call GP practice tomorrow as need repeat prescription too.

Tramadol has definitely taken the sharp unbearable pain in walking away. Just in pain which I can try and distract myself from, sometimes.
I'm adamant to get out walking from A to B. Small yards at a time are doable now. Sweating all the way thou.
Ive never had this carry on, just to walk. I weigh less than last year too and wasn't in all this pain, but I was new to tramadol this time last year. I've read it can give weight loss or gain.
Codeine was horrific. I'm far less constipated now. Such relief.
Still very swollen and have numb stomach flesh with numb/sciatic leg and pelvis.
Thank god for Tramadol.
I'm still taking pregabalin, buscupan and paracetamol and ibuprofen. On top of my repeat prescription items.

Just waiting again.... now.

Will ask GP tomorrow about anaemia help as diet full of iron.

Thanks @Guzzler. Having a hospital cafe breakfast and coffee til I feel up too walking for taxi pick up point.
I'm glad on my own as I can go at my pace.
Mind u with you guys on here. I'm never alone!

currently trying to reduce the methadone but this constant cold feeling will not go away
I quit methadone almost twenty years ago, and my advice is to go very very slow. With methadone it takes a long time for your system to get used to a lower dose, give yourself the time if you can. Good luck!

Been given 3x 210mg iron ferrate for Anaemia. Our GPs pcs are out of action so won't bother gp til tomorrow now.
Humf! 4yr old sent home from school with contagious viral infection. Either slapped cheek or chicken pox so he will be accompanying me this week.
What a life!

I'm alot less depressed on tramadol so will be asking to stay on it with the nerve painkiller increased, maybe.
