Open sore on foot and raised bs

Minor rant: I love how your GP has advised you to go away and monitor your bg. Any other day of the week I bet he says, "T2s don't need to test, T2's don't need a meter, blah blah blah..."

God no. Full on bad to the core choccies. My hubbie was given them as a present! Our kids have got a friend on a sleepover so we're going to let the kids have the rest. They should last all of 5 mins! If they're not there we can't eat them! Bad girl! Lol!
 
Does it say on the box how many carbs are in these chocs? I am almost scared to ask lol

Yes! The very man who told me that metformin doesn't cause hypos and that I don't need to measure bs as on metformin. Did I also tell you that when he phoned me yesterday, he abruptly stopped our conversation, having told me how many cuts had been made to his practice, to say that time was ticking on and that he had 20 other calls to make. Nothing like feeling valued

**** and blast it. Ate 3 chocs even though I knew I shouldn't but thought i could as I was about to go out on bike ride to get some shopping. My friend arrived so I couldn't go and I had a huge spike. Knew something was wrong as felt really dizzy. Bs 9.8! Ate a bit of lunch: cheese and salami and finally back down to 5.0 2 hours later! Wanting to experiment and see if can have odd little thing but clearly not 3 small Thorntons choccies! Rough week. Normally really good. Wish I could have a day off now and then! :(
 
Scandi if you are having chocolate cravings have you tried Atkins bars? There is one almost identical to Bounty.
A small pot of supermarket Choc mousse is 14g carbs. Or my other craving buster is Options Hot Choc, 6g per mug full.

Can you increase your exercise? I am a working mum too so it is very difficult to fit it in. But maybe you can succeed where I fail. I'm better on weekends

Me too. During the week it's non existent! Hoping to get some in now it's the hols! Where do you buy your Atkins bars? Love bounty!
 
I get them by the box on Amazon and I keep them in the freezer to make them last longer. I have a box a month delivered on subscribe and save.
They do a Snickers type one too, Peanut caramel, that's not bad. But the ordinary chocolate is a bit like cooking chocolate....only for the truly desperate.

Don't beat yourself. You have had a bad week with the NHS winding you up, feeling rotten plus having gammy feet. You deserved a treat :happy:
