Other locations for Libre

Has anyone successfully tried other locations for the Libre sensor? Would be interested to know.

Depending on how much fat you have on your leg, it may end up in the muscle which I think happened in the case of the person who posted that thread.

I tried it on my stomach ( level with the belly button, off to the right hand side) and it worked well for me.

Lots of folks have successfully used their abdomen or thighs. You can cover it with Opsite/Tegaderm/Rocktape if you're worried about knocking it off or it falling off.

That's the stuff - also available in a 10cm wide roll for £3 more - just cut it to size. Top Tip: round off the corners with a pair of scissors and it will be less likely to peel off.
