Overactive Thyroid and Type 1 Diabetes

Just recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and found out I have an overactive thyroid. I was also told my thyroid could be producing glucose into my blood. Not quite sure but was wondering if anyone had the same problem?

I had overactive thyroid 20 years ago, I went from 9+ to 7 stone very quickly. I don't understand the thyroid glucose quote, but I was very hyped twitchy and sugars low as I was always on the go. I had treatment and was left under active which is controlled with thyroxine well.
