My glucometer gives an overall average for the readings, and my average for the past 7 days is 6.8, and for past 14 days is 6.9.
Assuming that my average stays that way till November, does that number give a good picture of what to expect when I get my A1C done?

Very much depends how many readings and if you are catching the highest and lowest you go how close it is to hb1ac. However if tha average is declining that’s good news.
It can be a indicator of gradually lower fasting readings which is good and also lower pre and post prandial which are also good.

All of which should mean a better hb1ac.

A lot of us here input our blood sugar readings into the app called MySugr which after inputting enough data will give an estimated HbA1c reading. However as HSSS says above any estimation is dependent on how many readings are taken and if you are catching any spikes or lows. I use MySugr as a guide to trends up or down. My last lab test showed an HbA1c of 32 whilst MySugr showed 29.2, so not a million miles away.

I have found that my three month average is a good guesstimate of my hba1c, this pix was from seven months ago. My hba1c was 5.2% / 34 mmol/mol if I remember rightly in March, I have not got a recent one from that app I use.
