Overeating

I am a 41 year old man with type 2. I take 4 Metformin a day (500mg).

Every night from about 7 (I have my main meal about 5) i can't stop eating and as you can imagine i'm eating lots of stuff i shouldn't. I'm wondering if anyone has had and overcome this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kev, I get terrible munchies where I can't stop eating. I find it is worse if I eat carbs - they definitely make you want more.

I find drinking helps (not alcohol obviously) and doing some exercise (ie. ten pressups, stomach crunches, etc) it takes your mind of the eating and helps your weight loss too! ;)

Munching a few nuts is good too (although watch the quantity)!
