Overheated

Run cold water on your wrists, or sit with your feet in a bowl of cold water. Loose clothing, nothing tight, wear pure cotton including underwear, or take your underwear off altogether! (not advisable if you are wearing a skirt. ;)) Have a cup of tea, drink loads of water. More suggestions welcome!
 
It's probably not a good idea to do what I do........I have a cold bath.
 
Cover yourself with a damp towel, lie down in shade, or if indoors at night switch on a fan, direct it at damp towel covering you.
 
... and put some damp socks on your feet, as the water evaporates it draws heat out of your body. This is good for fevers as well.
