Ozempic Semaglutide Injection

Hi! I am a type 2 diabetic currently on insulin. I was previously on Metformin but after having an episode of DKA last year and kidney damage as a result I have been put on insulin. I have put on a lot of weight around my stomach and I’m finding that my sugar levels are difficult to control even though I’m being really careful about what I eat. I mentioned this to my doctor and she prescribed a Ozempic semaglutide injection once a week. Is anyone else on this or have any experience with it regarding side effects etc?
Any help appreciated.

How are you getting on with the ozempic? Have you had to reduce your insulin?
