Hi, Is Ozempic safe?
It has some horrendous side effects.
I am into my 4th. month of taking this drug and everyday since starting on it I have felt really ill.
It started with nausea & stomach discomfort.
Now after 4 months I have permanent nausea, stomach ache, severe bloating, belching, constipation and depression.
As far as being an appetite suppressant, if that means you feel too ill to eat, can't look at food without gagging and certainly not enjoying any food then it is working!!!
I have however gradually reduced my daily Insulin by 36 units.
I have also lost 8 kgs in weight, which is not surprising as I eat very little now.
Since Saturday I have lost 1 kg. per day.
My concerns are that all of the above might be a drastic way of inducing weight loss through starvation!!!
Any views on these matters,

I just started last Wednesday. No side effects as of yet. Hunger levels have been normal. What I am not seeing is improvement in my blood sugars. They continue to climb since I went off my Glyburide and on to Ozempic. 329 this morning. And I follow a relatively healthy keto diet. Have always watched my carbs. Was diet controlled until I went through menopause. That has thrown my entire body for a loop.
