Hi all.
I woulod appreciate any ideas for a packed lunch for my daughter (T2, insulin dependent, also must be low calorie).
I have always given her stuff like small amounts of pasta with tomato based sauce, rice and tuna with salad, cous-cous, that type of thing.
At the moment I am trying to veer her away from the pasta etc as her bg's have risen worryingly high again. Think the high bg's are a recurrence of a problem we have had in the past and we are not sure exactly why it happens but I don't want to exacerbate a bad situation so am looking for alternatives.
So far we have had ham salad, tuna salad, a small slice of edam and salad..I think she is going to have a meltdown if she has salad again!
Any ideas? Thanks
