Does anyone experience bad pain in hands and feet on waking in the mornings? Not the usual burning sensation but pain that feels like it's in the bones! I'm being woken in the early hours with this and don't know if it's diabetes related or something else such as arthritis/ rheumatic/ circulation. My feet were checked at my recent diabetic review and were OK. I've stopped taking my statins and have recently been prescribed Vit D due to a mild deficiency but no change yet. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.

I have exactly the same pains and stuff ankles on the morning. It wears off really quickly. Just put it down to the fact i walk a lot on my feet most of the day. And I am not any younger

Hi keitjones. Thanks for your reply. I'm not getting any younger either LOL It's just that its a sudden change and wondered if there was a reason for that related to my diabetes.

Hi dogs life, might be worth speaking to your GP about if you are really worried?
