Pairing new handset

I've just received a replacement handset for my insight pump and need to pair this to my pump. Do I need to delete my current handset pairing first before I pair the new one or do I do it after I've paid the new handset. I'm a bit unsure.

think you delete the current one first if my memory serves me right, yes you do I've just found the instructions they sent me when I got mine replaced
