Paragraphs

Ah but do you text in paragraphs like I do lol?

I almost never text.

When I do, I sometimes get accused of being "rude" because I use punctuation (I have never been able to figure that one out!).

My usual response to a text is to phone* the person and talk to them.

Also I do not believe that a text needs to be answered immediately (three to six hours is fine, or even the following day). If it's urgent, phone me.

People know all of these things about me, which is why they usually don't bother to attempt texting me.

See I text because I go through spells where I cant use the phone, anxiety sort of stuff. For me keeping in touch is better done by text. The only person I can honestly say I phone every week, however I'm feeling, is my 85 year old uncle. He has a mobile phone but refuses to give me the number hee hee

A question for you modern folk who own those funny "smartphone" things.

Is it impossible to type paragraphs on a smartphone? I am beginning to wonder whether that might explain why people just post huge blocks of text without separating them into paragraphs.

I must admit that when I see those posts, I seldom read them unless I have some evidence that they must contain compelling information.

Of course you can do paragraphs on a smart phone,

I hate that. I write in two languages (English and French) and it is devilish to switch over the auto-correct. It always tries to guess which language I am writing in, but often I am writing in a mixture of both. Usually simpler just to turn off the auto-correct altogether.

I don't believe this. I actually started the second line as a new paragraph and either my tablet or the Forum justified my second line to the left Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
...................rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Only way it works is by adding characters
