Passive smoke

Not sure passive smoking is the cause, I’m a smoker for my sins and I don’t have high numbers, I know it’s bad for me on all levels though it’s the one thing I struggle to give up

And your T2 diagnosis was 9 years ago?
GP's often don't know much about T3C, definitely ask!

With a test for C-peptide they can see how much insulin you produce yourself.

The pancreas is the organ that produces both insulin and those digesting enzymes.
Seeing as you need to take creon because your pancreas is knackered, it makes sense to find out if you still produce enough insulin.
Type 3C is when the pancreas is damaged, for instance by pancreatitis.
If I were you I would want to know if I had type 2 or type 3C.
