Hello, I use a guardian sensor I’ve tried the not just a patch patches and also the Medtronics ones and they both really irritate my skin. The not just a patch is less irritating but still not great. Does anyone have any solutions that work for them? I never got it as much with the Libra patches but that was much less surface area.

I am asthmatic and spray my steroid inhaler over the site, before using the tape. It works for me. I did hear that some GPs prescribe a steroid inhaler to avoid allergic reactions in children who use cgms.

I use Mefix tape, I just cut 10cmx10cm and make a cirle of it. It does not irritate my skin as Medtronics own cover does.
It last a week on me, but I also use skin tac under my sensor and Mefix. Only if whole week at work is a tropical temperatures with high humidity it maybe doesn't the whole last a week.

I also make my own patches. I bought a cutting out template that I place on a roll of tape. Draw around it and cut out. But I find the hole for sensor is bit small, so I also draw round loosely round old sensor. I bought 10mtr of tape for £6.60 and the template was £5.... all off ebay
