Type 2 PCOS and Diabetes type 2

I don't really know what he wants. For me, I'm worried about fertility now yes.
Ask when you see him for metformin for pcos and try it for yourself. You see if it works for you!
We are all different but I wouldnt want someone doing without what I was when metformin helped it so easily.
I wish I'd had metformin sooner and my diabetes had been picked up in childhood. I suffered mentally because I started to believe because I was fat I didn't deserve a pregnancy.
I did and did it again to double check not a fluck!
Not even my hospital specialists in hastings hospital got it. Consultant may have but not nurses and obstetrician, for sure. I very isolating time and of course the nurse thought it was me whose mind wasn't right, she just didn't get my intellect. I bet she is still making pregnant mums feel sh*t! Silly woman.
You ask for what you think would possible work for your body. You know your body better than anyone! Goodluck and keep me updated, please.

Totally agree! No one knows our body better than we do. But unfortunatelly they don't understand this.
I'm so sorry you felt that way about pregnancy! I'm really so sorry. :'(
I will keep you update. <3

So as I said, I tried the low carb yesterday and it was just a disaster for me. I ate a lot of cheese and meat with butter but I felt like I needed carbs and just could resist get a few cookies. Well, as you can imagine, then I couldn't stay at just "a few" cookies so I ended up eating all the cookies' packets I had and also all the cakes I had at home too.
I don't know if I should try low carb again or not honestly.

Hi Diabetes.PCOS

I am also type 2 with PCOS. I had some excellent results with LCHF until quite recently when I moved house and other things happened. I am back on it now and in only 2 days my sugar levels have reduced and I feel great again.

I’m afraid I’m going to go with the tough love thing and say, in the nicest and most supportive way possible, you can’t give up after a day. This is the rest of your life you are dealing with and if you don’t get a grip now, all sorts of nasty things are going to happen. I say all this having said it all to myself a million time and I absolutely know that it is easier said than done.
My first piece of advice, which was a lifeline for me is chuck out the cookies and all the sweet and Carby foods. Do it now. Order your shopping online so you’re not tempted by impulse buys and plan your meals.
You CAN do this, it won’t be easy for the first two weeks but you’ll very soon start feeling better than you have done in a very long time.

I’m sorry if I come across as mean, I don’t mean to be, but I found tough love worked for me and it could do for you.

Hi purplepenguin

Thank you for your words.
I don't think you're mean neither rude. And I need to hear that. As you said it's helpful and I totally agree.
I will work harder tomorrow and I will let you all updated if you want to.

And I will mentalize myself that I can do it. If I don't no one will do it for me.

Best of luck for you <3.

There is so much support here that whenever I am craving, I log in and spend time looking at the threads. Also, drink a glass of water if you are craving bad things, it doesn't take the craving away but it does refocus your mind for a few minutes. Like I say, I struggle every day to keep to the diet but there is nothing better than the feeling of seeing good numbers or having to buy a belt because your clothes are too big. I have to keep remembering that feeling to keep me on track.
