Actually very good for increasing your fat. Be careful though if you are trying to lose weight. I began lchf with cheese and nuts, however my calorie intake increased to over 2000 - not great. Small portions are the order of the day for me!
A lot of people feel that peanuts can stall weight loss, and not as healthy as tree nuts. Peanuts are legumes, not nuts, so they have slightly weird effects on metabolism. I do have some dry roasted peanuts at times, and no huge effect on my blood sugars.
