    Diagnosed type 2 1999, not taken very seriously for 17 years. Weight slowly decreased over the years from 20 stone to 16 1/2 stone.

    Atkins a few years ago, always known low carb works, but no willpower.

    Hba1c between 7 and 13 over the years

    Jan 2016 Hba1c 10.5, GP considering insulin...............Feb 2016, low carb + loads of supplements
    April 2016 Hba1c 7.9
    June 2016 Hba1c 6.0 (approx., on home test with a1cnow)

    Weight down from 16 1/2 stone to 15 stone
