New week - anyone else want to dig out a pedometer and join in?

Actually remembered to put mine on this morning, totally forgot over the weekend, which is a shame as I've had a very busy chaotic w/e and probably would of had a good step count!

2519 so far.... thats good for me especially with no lunchtime walk.

4606 - Still have to walk my daughter to Brownies but not likely to make the 10,000.
Having seen the forecast for the next few days I don't think I'll be going far

***, mines saying 120. Definately wrong, I've had it on since 7am and have done quite a lot of walking around today. Only took it off for 30 mins when I showered. Maybe should of brought a more expensive one!

which one did you buy? i tested mine again today, i walked 40 steps to the loo and 40 steps back and it said 79 steps so seems quite accurate i have the omron

I bought an Omron GQ smart, because everyone else had one and I like gadgets

I got it from amazon. It's a daffodil multi function pedometer. It had quite good reviews (4 & 5 stars), hence why I got it as I'm only going to be wearing indoors

maybe because your treading softly on carpet? try stamping around, where do you wear it? i have mine in my pocket, dunno if that makes a difference should be easy enough to test it in different places and different weighted foot steps

Test it, it may work better in some locations like a belt, rather than a pocket, and if it's not right send it back. Amazon are usually very good.

I was wearing it around my neck but have been tucking it in my sock if I'm not got any pockets in what I'm wearing. The instructions do say that there is a 7 second delay at the start of movement. Will try walking with a harder step to see if that makes a difference
