Bloody hell, 30mins off your predicted time is a huge chunk Andy. Did you enjoy it ? Any particular problems ? Well doneback on the sofa, cant move, legs and feet are just gone, peeing blood the consistancy of ketchup but i have a cup of green tea and a coconut atkins bar, smashed my predicted time by half an hour(ish) so i am on cloud nine

Must admit, as we get older, running gets harder. Cycling or rowing is much kinder on the body ! Still, a marathon is nice to tick off the bucket list. I've tried to get into London Marathon last 2 years in a row but no luck. One day, and it will just be the once. Enjoy the rest of your Sun with your feet up.thankyoui am chuffed, after the marathon im sticking to park runs and buying a nice bike, london to brighton next year is my next challenge, this running is bloody killing me
lol you cant consider yourself a runner until the running is life threatening
