I'm looking for a t1 pen pal!

I'm currently a student hoping to later specialize in neuroscience I love slam poetry, Pink Floyd (along with so much more music I'm too lazy to list ), chess, foreign films and reading, and I have a mild addiction to the heaven that is crunchy nut cornflakes...

I've been a t1 diabetic for 13 years and am currently on an insulin pump which is great I'm also epileptic and would love a pen pal to write to, so message me if interested!

Guess not then.

It's just sometimes nice for us parents to hear what you have to face and how you feel from someone older and therefore usually more articulate and experienced with it all.

It's also nice to have a bit of a heads up on how things might be for our children once they're older.

This forum is excellent for that; even for the non diabetics among us who just want to learn more. x
