Hi all, my name is Blake, I'm 23 years old and was just diagnosed with type 1 last year. I just recently got on a pump but I'm still really new to the whole thing. I'd love to have some younger people to chat with about stuff, all the type 1s I know are more advanced in their years, love them all but sometimes its easier to learn from people your age.

Hi @blaake,

You may find that we're not that nasty in the "adult" side of the forum. I've just turned 26 last year and have learned so much from this place in the past two years.

There are members here who have tolerated diabetes for 40+ years, some who (like us) are fairly new to it all. Just give us a shout:)
 
Hi @blaake I am 25 and am just over a year into the T1 diagnosis. Also on pump and self fund a CGM. Still working on it just like yourself so feel free to message me anytime.
