Here's a reminder of the #gbdoc hosted conference for people with diabetes on 27-28 February 2016.
Get full details and book your tickets here: http://www.peoplewithdiabetesconference.com
It's organised and run by people with diabetes and for people with diabetes (and friends and family if they're interested). Sponsored by Team Blood Glucose (http://www.teambloodglucose.com/TeamBG/Home.html)
It's all about us. It's about sharing our hints, tips and everyday solutions with other, like minded people with diabetes. Sharing stories, learning from each other and discovering that you are not the only one who have ‘those’ issues with living with diabetes.
This year the conference will be held at the beautiful Colwick Hall in Nottingham. The event is being held over two days, with lunches and one evening meal included in the two day ticket price.
The conference will be run using an open space format - the agenda gets set by those who attend, so you get to discuss whatever matters most to you.
There is also a 'pay it forward' scheme so that if you're able, you can make a donation towards others who are not quite so financially secure in order to make the event as accessible as possible. Anyone who has difficulty affording a place please email [email protected]
