Hi Fiona
I've found different brands will have different strength in flavour. The coffee shop i go to has a nice sweet one yet i have a subtle one at home.
Not sure what the benefits are, have heard that it settles the stomach if unwell.

Hi, Fiona

If you have a bit of mint in your garden or indoor mint plant, try a home made mint tea recipe. (squeeze 3 or more mint leaves, add very hot water then strain into warm cup and enjoy) beat that "JamieOliver"

I wont be that yuk, because you genuinely made it fresh and it dont cost much.

I have also been told mint tea also helps prevents colds and flu.

Peppermint Tea is an acquired taste, I've have it it before and didn't find it too bad..... although it's not something I'd drink everyday.

I drink lots of peppermint tea, and I definitely find it helps my digestion.
However, if you don't like the taste, then try peppermint capsules instead. They have the same effect but without the need of drinking down a cup of something you hate!

Izzzi is right -- try fresh mint and you'll never have a peppermint teabag again -- it's wonderfully refreshing -- even just the smell. Almost weaned me off coffee, but not quite..
