Petition for Freestyle Libre on NHS

I've been self funding the libre for a while now and also work for the NHS. There are no plans to get this on the drug tariff unfortunately to my knowlede having also spoken with my diabetes team and although the libre is a wonderful thing and really useful I have to say after 20 years of diabetes it made me completely obsessive. I've always had good control and nearly broke down recently cause I was just fed up of having diabetes and the constant never ending work. Anyway I've made the decision to stop the libre and I'm feeling free again.....I'm not saying that my experiences are bad or that it's not good, I'll still use it for holidays etc but mentally it's not for me....

Went to my hospital today, they do a trial with the Libre and give people one sensor and a meter. The DSN and the guy from the company mentioned that they hope to have the Libre on prescription by the end of the year or just after it, apparently they've been trying since last June but the election got in the way.
