pH Miracle for Diabetes

Hi Redathena

I've read this book and liked it. The only problem for me was that I found I was eating so much fat just to get calories...so many avocados and coconuts and nuts. I know the book said that it doesn't matter, but I personally didn't feel comfortable with it. I did really like the theory, though. I bought pH testing strips, and they are right, if I have been eating badly I get a reading of about 6.5 the morning after...if I eat lots of veggies and alkalising foods I can get 7.0. I also bought the green food powder for green drinks. It tastes foul but has lots of good stuff in it and I did drink a lot of it. Have stopped for some reason, not sure why because I did think it was good to do health-wise.

My BS was very good on this diet, but like I said, I just found it hard to get calories without relying on fats too much. But I have to thank the book because it started me on the path to looking at non-conventional diets to manage my BS. I am now eating mainly raw vegan....if you are interested I am blogging under "can I heal type 1". It's only slightly different to the pH miracle regime.
