Hey everyone, I am thinking of getting a nipple piercing but I just wanted to get others advice and experiences, I've had keloids on my ears before but they have gone down with keeping it clean, I have my belly button pierced and have had a few issues with that. For the women on here who have it done, how does it effect the nipple (e.g breastfeeding, infections etc).

Hello @No1DeadlyPoison As long as you're using a reputable company for the piercing and following guidance given after the procedure in terms of taking care of it, then really it's your personal preference as to whether you should go ahead with this. If you do wish to have children then there is a risk it can cause blocked milk ducts which would affect breast feeding, and speaking from experience feeding your new born is hard enough without the potential for other complications affecting it.
