Hi I have to test my blood 3 times a day because I have been put on steriods ,It is between 5&6 in the morning but rises to be teen 7&9 at dinner time and much the same at bed time ,I test before a meal and have to let the consultant who is treating me how I am after a fortnight on the steriods don't know if I,m doing OK and don't have an appointment with doctor till after I phone consultant ,anyone know If I, m doing alright thznks
 
HI I AM TYPE 2. AND DEPENDANT ON STERIODS. THEY DO KEEP THE SUGAR LEVELS UP. THE DRUG THEY GAVE ME WAS LINAGLIPTIN 5mg I TAKE 5mg STERIOD A DAY. TAKE MORE IF I AM NOT WELL. WHEN I GET UP. IT IS 12 THEN LUNCHTIME IT IS 14 THE EVENING IT IS HIGH AS 17. HOPE U DO WELL
 
You are doing ok. Lower might be a bit better but considering the circumstances you are fine.
