PINS AND NEEDLES in arms and hands

Hi my daughter has type 1 diabetes and said she had a high blood sugar last night and it took ages for it to come down.
She has pins and needles in her arms and hands and wondered if anyone else experiences this when their sugar levels are raised?

I get it when very high.. It gets to the point I can not feel my feet
