I get this a lot, its usually because I spend too much time on my laptop.

Not everything is down to diabetes so try not to worry :D

Take this up with your gp, it could be a number of conditions and may be unrelated to your diabetes so its always best to get these things investigated at a early stage.

I agree to run it by your GP. I had pins and needles in my left hand, I mentioned it to my doctor and after some tests at the hospital, I had a trapped nerve in my elbow. Had it operated on about 2months ago and it is really improved. All the best. Emerald
