Might be worth a go at reducing carbs and sugars and see what happens? I can’t tolerate porridge without sending my blood sugars up, fruit is only handful of berries at moment and a sandwhich(bread part) and beans on toast will also spike me and shoot up my blood sugars. I didn’t have pins and needles but did have chronic back pain that has resolved since my blood sugars have come down. My number was 71 down to 49 after 7 weeks of low carbing.My last number was 66 on the blood test and am on metformin the pain is so bad it runs all through my body I do not eat much as I feel sick all the time porridge for breakfast fruit for dinner and fish sarni for tea or beans on toast
