Yeah, the biscuits will do it! The fruit also has a fair amount of carbohydrates as well, in it's fructose. Some fruit is good, but not too much. Also, bananas are about the worst it seems, I avoid them - always get a high spike with them. The best fruits are the berries, low GI so no big highs. You perhaps need to look more closely at the carbohydrates you eat, both the quantity and the type. Most of us on diet only avoid the starchy carbs, like white flour products (white bread, pastry etc), only eat a little pasta (wholemeal) and rice (basmati) and avoid boiled or jacket "old" potatos; new potatos are much better. Obviously, sweets and sugary stuff is out. Some of course dion't bother, and are happy to go on medication to control their blood sugars. Each to their own! But if you want to stay on the "diet only" route, you will need to make changes probably.
