I am a long distance double manned hgv driver my problem is an inability to get to sleep I my cab. Instead of getting 3hrs sleep in cab I get none then have to drive for 4hrs and it is taking its toll. One of the reasons I can't sleep is I now get pins &needles in my feet and fingers which is uncomfortable and makes it difficult to relaxe, I have read this is a symptom of diabetes.

Can anyone suggest a sleeping remedy or something safe to keep me awake.

Would it not be better to treat the pins and needles? I take Gabapentin for this and find this very effective, but there are other treatment. Talk to your doctor x

Hi
what are your sugar levels and diet like?

I cured mine with weight loss and a change of diet. It took about three weeks. Well worth it, I still have some more weight to go so it was more the diet than the weight loss
