A friend of mine gets it for diabetes and other conditions.
If you do apply look at the criteria and seee if you think it applies to you, most of the days.
PIP is a different benefit to its predecessor.
There are groups that can help you, if required. Look on forums on facebook. Just be careful as not all do what it says on the tin

When I was feeling very unwell I wondered this? Luckily I feel a lot better now. You need to find someone who is experts at filling in the forms? My friend used CAB? It’s a minefield and most first apps get turned down then you have to appeal. Don’t get put off, if you feel you are ill enough to receive PIP then apply ! Good luck x
