What about starting a petition on Change.org asking for teachers (&kids) to be ALLOWED to wear PPE? That wouldn't risk refusal if the Govt is trying to avoid supplying it.

It is actually about allowing vulnerable teachers to teach vulnerable children online. If it succeeds it would help teachers and support staff with T2 and other vulnerabilities, and their pupils too.
 
Signed. I have several friends who are teachers or teaching assistants, in England, Scotland and Wales. I'm not fully aware of what the rules and regs are but I know they're all worried. The two who are teaching assistants dealing with kids with special needs have taken the decision to call it a day and resigned. Both are over sixty, possibly a bit more at risk, but also close to retirement, and thinking why take the risk?
