Hello everyone.
I have been experiencing high morning readings. The first I noticed it was when I woke up a 9.2. I then corrected and it was fine, but the next day the same thing happened. I woke up a 9.5 and ate the same breakfast and took the same correction but then i went to a 14.7 by 2 hours after! The next day I woke up a 11.3! I corrected like normal but then went to a 15.0! Today was the most odd though because I woke up an 8.2 and corrected and changed the ratio so I took more units. I got an 8.5 2 hours after
but by 4 hours after breakfast it went to a 12.3! This never happened before and I always ate the same breakfast with the same units for my carbs. I also didn't eat any more than usual the day before. Do I need a temporary basal and if so what time do I need it, because the time that it goes high in the morning varies? It doesn't do this any other time of the day. What is happening? why the high levels in the morning?
Any advice appreciated.
