eat, your meals/snacks, at the exact same time each day

also i tend to eat my meal, lunches/dinners then wait,(as i,m usually full)
until i have done my 2 tests the 1hour then the 2hours,
before haveing any "dessert" such as cake/nuts/cheese/yogurt etc

what do any of you do :?: :?:

As far as I'm concerned, No. I have my three meals at all sorts of times. Depends what I'm doing and where I am. not a problem.

I tend to wait after a meal for 2 hrs then test - if lowish I might treat myself to a Jaffa Cake ( I know ) or Yoghurt. Take advantage of the low's.
That's me.

Hi Jeenie,

No, it doesn't matter when you have your meals. In your case you are diet controlled, so your pancreas is making enough insulin to deal with the carbs in your diet, whenever it is called on to do that. It makes no difference to your pancreas whether you have your lunch at noon or 3pm - whatever the time of day it senses the rise in blood sugar and produces insulin to deal with it.

I tend to eat little and often, decent breakfast (time varies with work start time) snacks in morning, light lunch (again time varies as when I'm hungry) snacks in afternoon and a proper main meal in the evening, snack before bed and I find this keeps my levels evenish throughout the day.

Thanks guys, :) Phewwww what a relief,   have been knocking myself out,
and losing the battle, :x with trying to stick to regular times , and feeling guilty,
