please reply! live chat on the site

not sure wht people dont use this site :( ,but every time i log in there is never no one there either,when i first started using it there use to be a number of people on there in the evenings but that is back about 2 yrs ago now.
 
I think the chat facility is a very good idea, it could be especially useful for members who are struggling with their eating, or any other issues, to have live chat with someone who really understands.
When I first started low carb I needed support, luckily I had friends and family to call upon, very useful when I was tempted to eat something VERY carby such as a jacket spud (YUK), it was good to have someone at the other end of the line to talk me through the craving.

Here's a little bit about me,I was diagnosed as a Diabetic when I was 3yrs old & recently I've celebrated my 40th birthday :thumbdown: I wasn't looking forward to this birthday but it turned out pretty good in the end.My best friend Jane took me out to dinner & to top it all she baked me a sugar free cake which was really nice,the only thing that was sugary was the icing,now I couldn't be an an :angel: on my birthday after all birthdays only come once a year!!!
No,seriously speaking I am a reasonably well controlled Diabetic,like ever other Diabetic out there I have my good & bad days,like a week & half ago I was in hospital because I had a really bad case of Cellulitus & a damaged right nerve in my arm for which I'm having physiotherapy.
This time last year wasn't a good time for me as I was in a coma for 5 weeks due to having DKA,in total I was in hospital for 2 months :cry: because my case was serious enough I now have carers coming 4 times a day.Apart from having had DKA I also suffer from Retinopathy,Neuropathy,Kidney Disease,Asthma & more recently I've been diagnosed with having Epilepsy.Having all these medical problems means that I have to take a lot more medication which gets really tiring at times but I got to take them no matter what.I would like to know if other people also suffer from multiple medical problems like I do?
Anyway live chat girl if no one answers this live chat line then I hope that we could be friends,that's if you don't have objections???
