I have just called the doctors to get my resutls from last week.
When I was diagnosed it was 10.
Bearing in mind, before I was diagnosed, I used to be a Mcdonalds/KFC person most days, and never really watched what I ate, my result today is
6.5.
I am really pleased, so long as the converter on the diabetes.co.uk website still works out the same way. This converts to an avergae of 7.2.
the one thing I need to make sure of is that the next test is better, as it was bound to go down since diagnosis, but did not expect it that much.
This has been achieved, by 'lower carbing' but I am now back onto potatoes, and rice, which does not appear to have affected me too badly.
