I was diagnosed October 31st with an initial diagnosis of LADA, although the specialists are still investigating.
To add to that I’ve just spent a night in hospital due to contracting pneumonia.
My diabetic treatment is insulin and metformin and my sugars have been quite high due to the illness.
Since being given Amoxicillin to treat the infection my sugars are now quite stubbornly low (went from 4.3 to 4.6 after 46g of carbs (cake!))
Is there anything I need to under about my diabetes and my pneumonia treatment or is this just circumstantial?
