Thank you for all your good wishes my friends. I had a lovely day doing nothing. I got waited on and we spent the day watching the world snooker champs from the Crucible. Just a perfect day:D

Joe Perry is causing an upset beating O'Sullivan 9-7 but I think Ronnie will come out today fighting and beat Joe.

Enjoyed the Selby v Carter game, Mark is playing some terrific snooker at the moment and can see him getting to the final.

Oh yes indeed! We record the live coverage during our night and are watching it during the day. We don't have SKY but we have a free to air sport channel so don't get all the games but are loving what we can get. Didn't get Ronnie but did see the Robertson match. Very impressive. Selby certainly was worth watching, looking forward to the rest. :D

As yet Sky haven't got their hands on the snooker world champs but I do wonder if it's a matter of time before they snatch it from the BBC.

Did you read that the Chinese are putting in a big bid to get the world championship held in their country, I hope it doesn't succeed as it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't held in the Crucible :(

We heard that today, I am outraged! The Crucible IS snooker and imo the only place for the world champs. I so hope the Chinese bid fails. It would be another nail in the coffin of Brit traditon and a sad triumph for commercialism.

i like a bit of snooker, i used to play it 5 night out of 7 every week in a local snooker hall, i did that for years and never improved lol but really used to enjoy it (until the police raided the place and closed it down :( )
