So Couple weeks ago I had kidney stone and kidney infection. So unsurprisingly sugars ran slightly higher.
I’ve stopped antibiotics for nearly two weeks now.
But sugars will not drop to where I think they should.

normalky from what I’ve done today I’d be expecting a 3 something. The lowest they have been is 5.1. I know these numbers are really good. But they are not behaving.
All week I was struggling to get to under 7. Figured it was time of the month. Last couple days finally dropped into 6s.
Today it’s taken a 0 carb breakfast, a walk that normally does the trick,
Litre of water, didn’t eat for 7 hours but they only went to 5.1!!

like I said, I know 5.1 is good but it’s definitely not what I’d expect.

I’m thinking something else is brewing and my body is fighting something.
Do you guys think the same?
Not after diagnosis but more if I’m thinking along the right lines!

Are you sleeping well, no extraordinary stress going on or such?

It could be you're brewing something, or have you perhaps started a new pot of strips? Sometimes pots and batches can vary a bit, and sometimes you can be unlucky and have a wangy pot or batch.

Worst case scenario, have you thought about the symptoms of corona virus, you might have come into contact with someone who might be infected.

I had a low grade infection until my kidney stone was removed.

Yup. Possibly too well. Although never feel like I’ve had a good nights sleep.
I’ve increased testing over last few weeks as been monitoring so think I’ve had a couple new tubs. no more stress than usual I don’t think.
there is an underlying thing of if I do get I’ll or have to self isolate and money as I’ll get no income but not overly stressed out.
Bit moody but was time of month so not overly different.
No symptoms other than tonight was just uncomfortable. Whatever I did I was in comfy. But muscle achy etc but thinning I’m just blooming tired.
I am really tired at the mo but have been since the kidney malarkey

Possibly. But no real symptoms to talk of.
Just a general tiredness etc. No cough etc (well no more than I’ve had since Xmas)

Scans have showed everything is clear. Nothing in kidney or tubes. They are saying it was a stone but have no proof but with my history they think it was.

Woolleygal, it can take a few weeks to get over something like your kidney stone (or whatever it was) - the pain, bodily upset, stress and lack of sleep.

Keep a close eye on it, and note when you change tubs of strips. I appreciate it's frustrating when our numbers meander a bit, but as you say yourself, you're not in a worrying place with them at the moment.

Stay well.
