I had a blood test which indicated hyperthyroidism a couple of months ago and then a week later my blood work appeared normal but I'm still getting hyperthyroid symptoms even though the doctors say my blood work is normal I don't feel myself at all.

SailorSkitti - Unfortunately, thyroid hormones can fluctuate quite a bit. Annoyingly enough, they can even vary through the day.

Did you have your thyroid tests in a fasted state and first thing in the morning? That tends to give a stable state to allow comparisons between sets of tests.

If you think you have thyroid issues, it's important you keep pressing for a resolution as out thyroid gland impacts on so many aspects of our lives.

If you want to look at a specialised forum for thyroid (a bit like here, but with a focus on thyroid issues), then HealthUnlocked's thyroid area could be very useful to you. I found them to be a goldmine of information, guidance and support when I started digging into the thyroid issues I was having.

They're here: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts

I don't have any association with the HealthUnlocked forums, except as a member.
