There is a Mono peptide study going on in the uk at the moment which is the same thing.

If you have been diagnosed within 100 days you can try to get in.

Luckily I am being tested shortly to see if I am suitable.

Cardiff, london, birmingham are all involved.

I joined something called ADDRESS 2, a research database and found out through that.

Same thing, injections to preserve the beta cells in my pancrease by stopping the auto immune response.

Anyone who is reading this and within 100 days get in touch with your Diabetic team asap to see if you can get involved.

At 6 month it may well be too late for me however this may well in future help type 1s at any stage including stem cell research.
