3.5 15.9
4.2 9
4.4 11.3
4.3 14.3
4.8 9.4

(next week i will take readings for dinner)

according to DAFNE, you dont need to worry too much about your post meal reading as long as your pre meal readings are within target which is 4 - 7mmol.
If your pre meal readings are within this range, your HB should be 7% or lower

Waking up. 6.5
AND I had a cheeky slice of Aldi belgian chocolate torte and a few drams last night, so rather happy.
The two youngest getting me up at six this morning?
Not so great:sad:

Woke up to 4.6. Was really pleased until I realised I needed to get straight in the car and drive but couldn't because I was below 5mmol/l. Typical eh!

My wake up readings dont often go below 8.5 and mainly 10s today is 10.5. Ive got a bad cold at mo so getting highs of 24 after meals :-( feel rubbish!

I had a shock today! Last night before bed I was at 5.8 so I had a slice if toast before going to sleep.

Woke up this morning at 9 ! I'm guessing my dinner was still working its way through my system as I slept. Working to get it back on track this morning

@Thundercat - uti's are terrible, I hope you feel better soon!

Im on metforim glimepiride and sitagliptin. DN wants to try vitoza(sp) injections but im waiting on sering gastro for bad stomach pains at mo so cant try it.
